Hit Finding Director - Directeur (trice) Hit Finding

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Hit Finding Director to lead the early-stage discovery programs of our clients. This role combines scientific leadership with strategic client interaction ensuring the successful design and execution of hit identification campaigns tailored to client needs.

As a key scientific liaison you will represent our capabilities to clients manage collaborative projects and ensure scientific excellence in all external-facing activities.

Reporting directly to the Operations director you will be responsible for the management and execution of high- throughput screening with respect to our clients constant collaboration with our experts you will have to propose the best solution to the client according to their specifications.

You will also have the opportunity to take the lead in managing the client and Eurofins Discovery compound libraries in terms of logistic.

Main duties and responsibilities

As a Hit Finding director

• you will lead the design and execution of hit finding client opportunities in collaboration with the BDs team proposing the best solution in terms of technologies with the strong support of technological SMEs.
• You will serve as the primary scientific point of contact for clients ensuring clear communication alignment of goals and delivery of high-quality results.
• You will translate client objectives into actionable scientific plans and timelines.

As a  HTS director

• Depending on the chosen technology you will supervise or directly lead the different stages of HTS campaign including data analysis and presentation in front of clients using GeneData screener software with dedicated HTS team including scientific experts research scientist and research assistants.
• You will be responsible for overseeing all the technical aspects necessary to efficiently carry out screening operations including technology management and long-term strategic technological investment proposals to remain state-of-the-art.
• You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the automated (robotic) screening and laboratory facilities in collaboration with lab automation engineers.
• You will be responsible for identifying points for improvement and initiating developing implementing and streamlining sustainable cost-effective and efficient organization in alignment with Eurofins Cerep quality management system.
• You will also participate to the Eurofins discovery compounds library management.

En tant que principal interlocuteur scientifique vous reprsenterez nos comptences auprs des clients grerez des projets collaboratifs et assurerez lexcellence scientifique dans toutes les activits vocation externe.

Rattach(e) directement la Directrice des oprations vous serez responsable de la gestion de la plateforme et de lexcution des HTS en fonction des besoins de nos clients. En collaboration constante avec nos experts vous devrez proposer la meilleure solution selon les spcifications du client.
Vous serez galement en charge de la gestion -sur le plan logistique - des librairies de composs de nos clients et dEurofins Discovery.

Principales missions et responsabilits

En tant que Directeur(trice) Hit Finding :

• Vous dirigerez la conception et lexcution des opportunits de Hit Finding en collaboration avec lquipe commerciale en proposant les meilleures solutions technologiques avec le soutien des experts techniques.
• Vous serez le point de contact scientifique principal pour les clients garantissant une communication claire lalignement des objectifs et la livraison de rsultats de haute qualit.
• Vous traduirez les objectifs des clients en plans scientifiques concrets avec des chanciers prcis.

En tant que Directeur(trice) HTS (High Throughput Screening) :

• Selon la technologie choisie vous superviserez ou dirigerez directement les diffrentes tapes de la campagne HTS y compris lanalyse des donnes et leur prsentation aux clients via le logiciel GeneData Screener avec une quipe HTS ddie compose dexperts scientifiques de chercheurs et dassistants de recherche.
• Vous serez charg(e) de superviser tous les aspects techniques ncessaires la ralisation efficace des oprations de criblage y compris la gestion technologique et les propositions dinvestissement technologique stratgique long terme pour rester la pointe dans ce secteur dactivit.
• Vous serez responsable de la mise en place et de lentretien des installations automatises (robotiques) de criblage en collaboration avec les ingnieurs en automatisation du service mthode.
• Vous identifierez les axes damlioration et initierez dvelopperez mettrez en uvre et optimiserez une organisation durable rentable et efficace en accord avec le systme qualit dEurofins Cerep.
• Vous participerez galement la gestion des librairies de composs dEurofins Discovery.

Qualifications :

• PhD in Biology Pharmacology or related field with 5 years of experience in drug discovery.
• Demonstrated expertise in hit identification and early-stage lead discovery.
• Strong client-facing experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex scientific projects and cross-functional teams in all gold standard technologies TR-FRET FP FI Mass Spectrometry and other Biophysics knowledge is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of screening relevant software packages (compound management software Genedata etc.)
• Experience working in a CRO or collaborative R&D environment is a plus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Vous tes titulaire dun Doctorat en biologie pharmacologie ou dans une discipline similaire avec plus de 5 ans dexprience en dcouverte de mdicaments.
• Expertise dmontre en identification de hits et en dcouverte de leads en phase prcoce.
• Exprience confirme en relation client avec dexcellentes comptences en communication et en prsentation.
• Capacit avre grer des projets scientifiques complexes et des quipes pluridisciplinaires avec matrise des technologies de rfrence : TR-FRET FP FI spectromtrie de masse ; des connaissances en biophysique sont un plus.
• Vous avez une connaissance approfondie des logiciels de criblage (logiciels de gestion de composs Genedata etc.).
• Exprience en CRO ou en environnement R&D collaboratif est un atout.
• Vous parlez anglais couramment ; la connaissance dautres langues est un plus.

Compensation:

• Starting from 50000 gross annually with a bonus on objectives of 10% to be determined based on profile and experience

• Meal vouchers nominal value 11 (60% covered by company)

• Working hours: 218-day annual fixed working days agreement

• Salaire apprcier et ngocier selon profil et exprience ( partir de 50 000 euros bruts annuel avec une prime sur objectif de 10%)
