Link Solutions is seeking a Networking Administrator (Associate-Level) to join our team at White Sands Missile Range NM.

The Networking Administrator (Associate-Level) will be responsible for daily network operations maintenance and security at the Army Research Laboratory in White Sands Missile Range NM. You will be a part of a diverse team supporting a globally distributed information systems responsible for the analysis administration voice video and data communications networks.

Job Responsibilities:
- Support routine monitoring and performance management of network systems.
- Help ensure the enforcement of cybersecurity policies in accordance with DoD security protocols.
- Install and support network operating systems and applications.
- Evaluate and maintain telecommunications systems under the guidance of senior staff.
- Identify and troubleshoot network-related issues across LAN wireless and encryption environments.
- Participate in the implementation of network policies standards and procedures.
- Provide user support and training on basic network functionality and tools.
- Regularly report to a Senior Network Administrator for task assignments and technical direction.

Qualifications :
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance
- BA/BS Degree or an AA in computer science or information technology with two (2) additional years of experience.
- One (1) year of relevant experience working in IT enterprise network engineering.
- IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security CE CCNA Security GICSP GSEC SSCP etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF BGP) security standards (802.1X 802.11 MAC bridging) and media access control systems.
- Demonstrated experience in network segmentation traffic management and secure network architecture design.
- In-depth knowledge of network tools monitoring platforms and documentation best practices.
- Ability to plan and implement large-scale network configurations and upgrades while minimizing downtime.
Preferred:
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 certification
- Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform.
- Familiarity with NIST STIG RMF and Federal Information Systems Controls.
- Working knowledge of hardware configuration management tools and logistics tracking systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
- Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
