Maintenance TechnicianTemp to Hire2nd Shift: 4pm - 12:30am M-FGreenfield INCompensation: Up to $27/hr
Seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our clients distribution center team in Greenfield IN. This role is perfect for a hands-on technician who excels at preventive and reactive maintenance on conveyor and material handling equipment working in a fast-paced environment focused on safety and reliability.
What Youll Do as a Maintenance Technician:
Perform preventive predictive and reactive maintenance on all conveyor systems and connected equipment including Hytrol conveyors Ambaflex spiral conveyors Sealed Air tray/lid formers Panther label printers and FMH expandable conveyors
Conduct minor repairs such as belt and chain adjustments or replacements motor swaps and equipment cleaning and lubrication
Troubleshoot conveyor automation systems via HMI interfaces
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with OSHA and company policies
Prioritize and organize work to meet operational demands and customer expectations
Identify worn or damaged parts and coordinate replacements with management
Accurately record maintenance activities using Limble software
Prepare and maintain maintenance documentation including work logs and equipment check sheets
What Were Looking For:
High School diploma or GED required
Proven experience with preventive maintenance of conveyor and sortation systems
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills on conveyor equipment
Knowledge of hand power and pneumatic tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Self-motivated reliable and personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills
