Job Description
- Analyse and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Design implement and oversee enhancements to production workflows and systems.
- Conduct root cause analyses of production-related issues and establish preventive measures.
- Work closely with production teams to resolve technical challenges and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet defined specifications.
- Develop and maintain documentation including standard operating procedures and quality guidelines.
- Stay informed on industry advancements trends and emerging technologies in production engineering.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Grade 3 Certificate or FTC in Mechanical Engineering.
- Maximum qualification: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a production engineer in India.
- Strong understanding of large-scale manufacturing processes systems and quality control.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and the ability to interpret related technical drawings.
- Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and taking precise measurements.
- Basic proficiency in reading and writing in both Swahili and English.
