Job Description

Do you want to own quality end-to-end and shape how a brand-new development team works

ABAX Poland is looking for a proactive independent QA Engineer to join our expanding Tech Department. Youll be embedded in a newly formed development team working hands-on across the entire delivery flow while staying connected to our QA Team in a matrix structure.

This is a hybrid role based in Poland with 2 mandatory office days per week in our Gdask office.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Hunt for weaknesses in a complex distributed SaaS system
  • Design and develop robust test automation and tooling
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team to create metrics and dashboards for identifying data quality issues
  • Stay up to date on tools and technologies that support ABAXs mission

What Makes You a Great Fit

Must-have:

  • 3 years of experience in test automation (any platform/language C# and Python are most common here but youre free to choose the tools that work best)
  • Experience in exploring complex distributed SaaS systems to uncover risks and hidden issues
  • Solid understanding of a range of quality strategies from shift-left to testing in production and knowing when to use each
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure GCP or AWS)
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g. Looker Studio Power BI)

The Hiring Process

  • Initial screening call to align expectations and get to know each other
  • Test automation coding challenge (completed at the same time as the Alva Labs personality and logical assessments) to understand your approach and working style
  • Deep-dive interview focused on the coding challenge and your thinking
  • Final interview with Hiring Manager & Talent Acquisition
  • Digital reference check through RefApp
