We are hiring CNM3; Nurse/HCA/ODP Practice Development & Education into a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Assure that nursing practice is delivered effectively and in accordance with NMBI standards.
- Oversee the quality assurance programs for nurses and healthcare assistants to support and guarantee the provision of the best possible patient-centered care.
- Through the care processes advance include and promote person-centered nursing practices which improve patient outcomes and clinical efficacy.
- Make ensuring that the evidence-based competency goals for healthcare assistants and nurses are fulfilled at the unit level.
- Encourage change and play a significant part in advancing business and nursing advancements.
- Assist the Director of Clinical Services (DOCS) in delivering nurse education in a strategic and forward-looking manner.
- If necessary cover for senior nurse managers.
- Exercise clinical and strategic leadership.
- Encourage team building among employees.
Requirements
- NMBI license for registered general nurses.
- A level 9 or higher postgraduate degree in education is required.
- Finished a course in teaching and assessment.
- Proficiency in teaching in an academic environment
- Five years of nursing experience after registration.
- A minimum of two years experience in quality improvement practice development clinical education or teaching.
- Teaching skills leadership traits professional judgment critical thinking and problem-solving abilities and a feeling of professional growth are all required of candidate
- knowledge of managing a clinical team.
