Job Description
We are in the hunt for a Part-time (3 days a week) Business Development Executive due to an internal movement.
- Implement proactive sales plans targeting the MICE business group and corporate segment
- Identify and convert sales leads into new business opportunities
- Maintain effective communication with the Director of Sales
- Prompt organisation and delivery of site inspections
- Preparation of proposals and contracts in an accurate manner
- Retain existing customer base by building and developing relationships
- Participate and represent hotel at key industry / trade events
Qualifications :
- 1-2 years demonstrated sales experience in hotels
- Experience working with Cvent and Delphi.
- Strong focus and passion for hotel operations
- Able to be tactful and diplomatic at all times
- Confident and articulate communication negotiation and networking skills
- The right to work in Australia - no sponsorship is available for this position
