Program Overview
The Public Affairs Development Program is a professional development program that provides participants with an orientation to Wells Fargo and a deep understanding of the companys operations business strategies and corporate culture through speaking engagements relevant work assignments and group mentoring. Program participants receive coaching and performance feedback sessions participate in group projects and informative learning sessions with key leaders. It is designed to provide recent college graduates with a blend of business and career developmental training opportunities that incorporates real-world experiences through on-the-job learning and professional development to help you successfully transition from college to corporate life at Wells Fargo.
In this role you will:
Perform a variety of job assignments to develop key skills and gain a working knowledge of the organization
Attend classroom training self-study assignments workshops networking and other events
Receive direction from manager and exercise judgment while developing knowledge in area of concentration within PA
Collaborate and consult with peers colleagues and managers to build trust brand reputation and positive business results for Wells Fargo
Required Qualifications: 6 months of Development Programs experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors degree candidate with an expected graduation in December 2025- May/June 2026
Successful completion of 2025 Public Affairs Summer Internship program
Ability to take on an elevated level of responsibility initiative and accountability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products
Demonstrated interest in one of the following fields: Business Corporate Communication Marketing Government & Community Relations Economics and/or Analytics
Knowledge and or experience in public affairs
Knowledge and or experience in the financial services industry
Demonstrated leadership skills
Program start date for 2026: August 2026

Pay Range
Charlotte NC - Pay: $70000
