About the Role
We seek a qualified PGT English teacher for Classes XI XII in a CBSE-affiliated residential school. This role includes comprehensive lesson delivery and full-time campus engagement with free boarding and meals.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE senior secondary English syllabus .
- Prepare lesson plans worksheets assignments and reading tasks to enhance language skills .
- Assess student performance assign grades and provide constructive feedback .Conduct classroom management; establish behavioral guidelines and maintain discipline .
- Identify and support students with special learning needs; develop individualized learning Communicate with parents/guardians on student progress and behavior concerns Collaborate with staff on curriculum planning co-curricular events and student development programs .
- Required Qualifications & Skills
- Master s degree in English (M.A.) and a mandatory qualification
- Minimum 2 years of PGT-level teaching experience preferably in a CBSE school; freshers may be considered based on merit
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills fluent in English
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills with a passion for teaching
