We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team.
YOUR ROLE WILL BE
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible to provide leadership in end to end Supply Chain activities for the company which includes operational execution of internal & 3rd Party material flow and related supply activities. This is a central role within Operations and requires the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously balancing priorities with a strong sense of urgency ability to work with ambiguity and attention to detail. This position will have you collaborating with internal and external partners across multiple functions including R&D Quality Assurance Regulatory Affairs and Finance to execute and deliver global supply plans for both clinical and commercial supply.
WHAT YOU OFFER
Build and maintain productive relationships with external contract manufacturers & logistics partners and internal global colleagues
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders via the Sales & Operations Planning Cycle (S&OP) and outsourced manufacturers to ensure supply plan is executed and inventory objectives are met.
Lead logistics transportation and import/export activities
Provide effective communications with all internal and external stakeholders and lead discussion problem solving efforts and process improvements to ensure that performance targets are met or exceeded.
Develop and execute supply chain strategies for product launches; play a key role in both supporting & project managing technical transfers operationalizing product supply and site establishment.
Manage and track inventory perform inventory reconciliations and support financial business processes.
Oversee a continuous performance assessment and utilization of KPIs of contract partners regarding pricing compliance service quality capacity and management
Where necessary provide input to manufacturer and QA for evaluation of process deviations and assist in the investigation of product complaints
Support the design implementation and monitoring of supply risk mitigation strategies.
Implement and maintain purchasing policies and procedures ensuring strict adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements
Streamline purchasing processes identify inefficiencies and successfully conduct innovative solutions to enhance productivity
Create and manage annual budget for Supply Chain activities.
Provide strong integrity vision knowledge and overall aptitude to the organization.
EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering or related field.
15 years combined experience in manufacturing outsourced operations technical operations and/or supply chain in regulated healthcare industry preferably within Medical Device industry.
Technical background with knowledge of Out-Sourced Manufacturing and Logistics plus Medical Device manufacturing processes desired
The ability to function in a fast-paced high-growth entrepreneurial environment
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10%
Experience with 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485 / 9001
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks including management of Business Processes and Projects
Possess a flexible pro-active approach to problem solving be an adept negotiator and apply risk-based decisions
Strong organizational communication interpersonal managerial and leadership skills
Ability to effectively and efficiently manage consultants suppliers vendors and budgets.
