Job Description

Speech Pathology Australia is seeking an enthusiastic Conference and Events Assistant to join our dynamic team!

In this exciting and varied role you will play a key part in delivering high-quality national and state-based events. Youll support the end-to-end planning and execution of events by coordinating logistics liaising with venues suppliers presenters and attendees and providing practical support on the day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating event registrations travel bookings and session logistics
  • Managing communication with attendees members and presenters
  • Assisting with marketing materials certificates and post-event feedback
  • Supporting setup and delivery at events and conferences
  • Maintaining accurate event records and documentation
  • About you:

  • Youre highly organised detail-focused and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. You bring strong communication and administrative skills enjoy event coordination and are ready to roll up your sleeves to help make each event a success.
  • Essential:

  • Experience in event or admin support
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks
  • Flexibility to travel and work extended hours during events
  • Desirable:

  • Experience in a membership or not-for-profit organisation
  • Familiarity with event registration systems or CRMs
  • Knowledge of the allied health or education sectors
