Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive increased output and on time delivery by addressing inefficiencies in planning systems and material flow processes.

• Optimize manufacturing plans and material replenishment strategies to enable Connected Flow within the Dayton site.

• Define Standard Work for the implementation and management of strategic buffer stock and maintenance of data quality parameters.

• Identify and resolve lead time disconnects. Implement long-term solution for effective management of lead times.

• Lead site inventory strategy and problem-solving.

• Help develop effective countermeasures for inter-functional processes impacting timely material release part flow and schedule stability.

• Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization including senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in driving increased output and on time delivery by addressing inefficiencies in planning systems and material flow processes).
