Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The University of Maryland is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative individual to serve as a Workday Student Academic Progress Report (APR) Configurer & Tester. This position is responsible for configuring and testing academic rules and requirements in Workday Student during the implementation of the University of Marylands new degree audit system the Workday Student APR. Housed in the Office of the University Registrar this position partners with OUR Subject Matter Experts and collaborates extensively with the universitys Workday Student project staff as a part of the Academic Planning and Advising Tools (APAT) team. The incumbent understands the process of translating higher education curricula into technical degree audit tools in support of advising efforts and student success.
This position may be required to work at the normal work location or an alternative location during a major catastrophic event weather emergency or other operational emergencies to help maintain continuity of university services.
Essential Duty/Responsibilities:
Essential Duty/Responsibility 1:
Percentage: 40%
Configure Workday Student Academic Progress Reports (APR) including student eligibility rules academic requirements and academic requirement overrides.
Essential Duty/Responsibility 2:
Percentage: 40%
Conduct unit testing specifically Workday Student system internal testing business process testing and APR testing. Other types of testing may be required.
Essential Duty/Responsibility 3:
Percentage: 20%
Ensure a high standard of data quality through data validation and review records in legacy systems and the Workday Student system for accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education - Bachelors degree required.
