Location: Sacramento CA (On-site Full-time)
Company: SERVPRO Team Carpenter
- Conduct structural assessments and evaluations following fire water or catastrophic damage
- Collaborate with project managers estimators and construction crews on mitigation and reconstruction plans
- Provide engineering support for permitting site development temporary structures and erosion control
- Work with government agencies municipalities and insurance adjusters to ensure code compliance and safety
- Prepare documentation drawings and reports as needed for regulatory submittals and client communication
- Support project scope development change orders and field inspections on active job sites
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license preferred)
- Minimum 35 years of field experience in civil or structural engineering (restoration or reconstruction preferred)
- Knowledge of local codes FEMA/NFIP guidelines and government permitting processes
- Ability to create and review construction documents site plans and engineering reports
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong critical thinking and situational judgment especially in post-disaster conditions
