Ashgate Hospice is looking for a creative and driven Digital Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing and Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our online presence and connect with our community.

About the role

As Digital Marketing Assistant youll support with our social media channels our website digital advertising and email marketing. Youll help us by planning and developing content to grow engagement increase fundraising income raise awareness of our care and retail shops and encourage conversations round death dying and bereavement.

This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote working and time on-site at the hospice and where required in our shops or out in the role will require access to independent means of travel. The area we support is not easily accessible via public transport.

Key responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms.
• Help keep our website content accurate and up-to-date.
• Analyse digital performance metrics and produce reports.
• Collaborate with teams across the hospice to gain content share stories and promote events.

About you

Were looking for someone who is:

• Enthusiastic about digital marketing with a creative eye for content.
• Organised proactive and a good communicator.
• Familiar with social media platforms and comfortable using scheduling tools.
• Comfortable with using image and video editing tools such as Canva and Adobe Premier Pro.

About Ashgate

Ashgate Hospice based in North Derbyshire offers free palliative and end of life care for adults with life-limiting or incurable illnesses including cancer neurological diseases and advanced heart kidney and lung conditions. Last year we cared for over 2400 people. Our aim is to support our patients by keeping them informed managing their symptoms and improving their quality of life from diagnosis onwards.

We also provide vital support to the people who are important to them offering practical assistance and emotional support including bereavement services.
