- The Opportunity
The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Monash University is seeking a Research Fellow (Level A) to join our world-class Drug Discovery Biology team at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS).
This research-only role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge drug discovery efforts with a focus on pharmacological biochemical and biophysical characterisation of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs).
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting research aligned with defined project objectives
- Applying analysing and interpreting pharmacological assays (e.g. ligand binding proximal transducer assays second messenger assays) to understand GPCR biology
- Supporting administrative operational and financial aspects of the research program
- Collaborating within multidisciplinary research teams
Working under broad direction the Research Fellow will help drive research outcomes and continue developing their expertise in an internationally recognised academic environment.
