Job Description
Position: Fire Alarm Installation Technician
Are you a seasoned fire alarm installation technician seeking a stable fulfilling career with outstanding benefits and competitive pay Your expertise is in high demand and we want you to bring your skills to our team!
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Diagnose system malfunctions of fire alarms and adjust repair or replace equipment as needed to bring into compliance.
- Prepare accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
- Work independently or supervise others as required.
- Complete documentation associated with fire alarm services provided.
- Provide customer service coordination and communication.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience as a fire alarm installation technician.
- In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems and related equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Commitment to safety standards and protocols.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- NICET certifications a plus but not required.
- Installation experience and prior construction experience a plus.
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting skills of commercial low voltage systems.
- Positive and respectful attitude to maintain good working relationships with management staff employees vendors and customers.
- Competent computer skills.
Education and Experience:
- Field electrical and/or electronic practical experience required.
- AA degree in electronics preferred but not required or equivalent technical/Military school supplemented with 3-5 years of related industry experience is a plus.
- Valid drivers license.
