We are hiring a Social Media & Brand Content Senior Manager to join our Brand Marketing team. This position reports to the Vice President of Brand Marketing and takes Away further by steering our social and storytelling strategy driving cultural relevance and creating brand entertainment that resonates deeply with our audiences.
Social Media & Cultural Strategy
Youll define the overarching social vision and roadmap ensuring our brand leads culture rather than follows it
Youll identify cultural trends moments and conversations to create timely relevant content that drives brand affinity
Youll oversee an editorial calendar that incorporates overall social media strategy
Youll produce and execute upon a real-time marketing approach that allows the brand to show up authentically and during key cultural events and moments
Youll use data-driven insights to refine content strategies and identify new opportunities for audience growth
Youll continuously evaluate platform shifts to optimize posting cadence creative formats and audience engagement strategies
Youll work in lock-step with the paid media team to ensure a 360-degree approach to social media marketing
Brand Content & Entertainment
Youll own the voice tone and personality of the brand across all social channels (Instagram TikTok YouTube emerging platforms)
Youll lead the creation of social-first content series campaigns and brand entertainment initiatives
Youll collaborate with internal and external partners to bring scroll-stopping concepts to life
Youll leverage storytelling formats that span video audio live and interactive experiences to push the boundaries of what brand content can be
Youll experiment with emerging content types to keep the brand ahead of trends
You have substantial experience and expertise in social media brand content or creative strategy roles with experience at the Manager level or above
You have proven success in building culturally resonant brand campaigns that spark brand impressions conversion and conversation
You have deep knowledge of the social landscape platform ecosystems and creator economy
You have experience leading innovative content strategies that blend brand storytelling with entertainment
You have a portfolio or track record of content that has achieved cultural relevance (viral moments buzzworthy campaigns social-first collaborations)
You have exceptional creative instincts with the ability to ideate and direct high-quality top-performing content
You have strong leadership communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
You respect data and have a keen ability to analyze and translate results into action
You are customer-obsessedyou understand our customers and how to engage them in social channels.
You have exceptional storytelling skills that bring passion energy and inspiration to the forefront
You obsess over how our brand shows up and have exceptionally high personal and team standards
You have exceptional budget management capabilitieswith laser-sharp budget allocation and optimization and the ability to build the business case for spend
Youre creative and innovative; you love to build great new things that are fresh and unique while staying on brand

Our compensation is purposely structured as one rate to provide transparency in the hiring process while honoring our internal pay bands. Salary and benefit offerings are reviewed during phone screenings to ensure alignment.
Compensation: $140000.00 annually
This role is eligible to participate in Aways Annual Company Performance Incentive Bonus Plan the terms of which are determined at the discretion of the company
Equity Grant: commensurate with level determined at the discretion of the company

This is an office-based position that works from our Soho NYC office four days a week. Our working hours are 9am-6pm et but we embrace a common-sense approach to flexibility in the workplace. Its about being present engaged and balancing work with real-life needs.
