Job Description
Seeking Entry-Level Electrical/Hardware Engineering professionals to support hardware design software development and integration work for the Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC)at Redstone Arsenal AL. Initial tasking will be supporting multiple missile programs in a lab integrating operational hardware software platforms and sub-systems into a larger test environment to support product development assessment and integration into the Army range testing and acquisition pipeline. A well-suited applicant will be a self-motivated individual capable of working independently and within a multi-disciplinary team with contractors and government employees. They must also possess good oral and written communication skills. Candidate will sit on site with the customer at AvMC on Redstone Arsenal.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performhardware design some software development and integration process in the lab to include workflow and assignment of duties.
- Ensurehardware team compliance with product and lab best practices.
- Hardware/Software Integration.
- Support for Range Testing.
- Support debugging issues with existing code bases.
- Support the development of automated testing processes and supporting toolsets.
Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
- B.S. or greater in Engineering or other technical discipline is required.
- 0-2yearsexperience in Electronics Electrical Engineering or Software programming.
- Previous experience in a Systems Integration Labwill be given preference.
- Previous experience with ArmyPlatforms and HW Integration is preferred but not required.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Qualified candidates will have an interest or experience in one of the following areas:
- Hardware and Software Integration.
- Hardware interface testing.
- Digital Signal Processing.
- Data Communication Networks.
- Cable Design and Assembly/Disassembly.
- Electrical/Electronics laboratory equipment and environment.
