Job Title: Golf Services Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Meet with potential clients conduct site tours and sell the resort as needed
• Ability to self-motivate working independently or as a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with definite golf group bookings as assigned to ensure a smooth event and all needs are met or exceeded
• Work as an intermediary between the Golf Sales Golf Operations Departments and Catering Departments and the Customer to meet/exceed Guests expectations as it relates to catered meeting/meal events at the resort.
• Call on definite Group Golf Bookings as assigned to detail event business; analyze requirements of functions outline available facilities and services offered as well as quoting menu prices.
• Recommend and coordinate the set-up of their golf events based on the number of participants and program.
• Coordinate catering /event requirements of meals snacks and golf events as requested by individuals or groups by completing Banquet Event Orders up selling all experiences as available.
• Obtain signatures on all Banquet Event Orders.
• Coordinate all rooms and event details pertaining to assigned groups.
• Detail all on conference resumes and review with departments at weekly Resume Meeting.
• Verify deposits on hand at time of file turnover and is responsible for collecting any additional deposits as outlined in Group Golf Sales Contracts.
• Measures group rooms pick up and consult with Groups Sales Manager regarding applicable attrition.
• Serve as Conference Manager during functions to minimize confusion and resolve problems such as space adjustment tee times guest services issues and/or need for additional equipment.
• Attend Banquet Event Order meeting and lead as instructed by Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Work closely with the Banquet Manager and Culinary team to achieve /exceed guests expectations.
• Meet with potential facility users and site selection committees conduct site tours of the facility and sell the resort as needed
• Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club sales and company procedures
• Serve as a liaison during functions to minimize confusion and resolve any issues
• Visible passion and enthusiasm for sales and the golf business
• Ability to adapt to changing business demands
• Completing any other task/duties assigned

• Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM/PM shifts weekends and holidays; according to events booked
• Must have attention to detail strong ability to multi-task and time-management skills
• Minimum of 2 years in a golf sales role is required. Golf resort tournament operation experience is preferred
• Must be able to sit stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching pushing pulling lifting carrying etc.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Delphi or similar hospitality CRM tool is a plus
• College degree preferred
• Must be able to lift push carry and pull up to 50lbs.
