SPRINGSEMESTER
SUBSTITUTE OPPORTUNITIES 2025-2026
The Montgomery County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for substitute positions that may be available within our division for the 2025-2026 school year. This posting is for student teachers and interns only placed with MCPS for the spring semester.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The substitute assumes the responsibilities of the regular employee when that employee is absent from work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Students must currently be a student teacher or intern and have been given permission from their college or university to hold a substitute position.
- Students may begin a substitute position AFTER working six weeks with their cooperating teacher and completing MCPS Human Resources paperwork requirements
