Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custodial and hospitality services with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards in a hotel or industrial setting. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas are clean well-maintained and meet company standards.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available for staff use.
- Train new hires on proper cleaning techniques safety protocols and customer service expectations.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally ensuring prompt resolution to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance and front desk to coordinate services and address any issues that arise.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality or industrial cleaning sectors.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices floor care techniques and cleaning equipment usage.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
