Our Claims teams are the proven problem solvers of choice for clients delivering consistent technical excellence and showcasing our service differentiation to create an unparalleled global claims handling experience. Through a robust stakeholder feedback loop and supported by consistent processes and leadership we take pride in delivering responsive fair and professional service with empathy and efficiency.

How you will create an impact

  • Review casualty claims in conjunction with policy wordings to determine coverage.

  • Provide direction to adjusters on investigation of claims.

  • Prepare disclaimer and/or reservation of rights letters and communication same tounderwriters brokers and insureds when applicable.

  • Provide instruction to legal counsel to bring about appropriate resolution of claim.

  • Ensure compliance by legal counsel of our litigation guidelines.

  • Participate in mediation/ADR process to bring about resolution of claim.

  • Negotiate settlements directly where possible.

  • Issue payments within appropriate time frame.

  • Operate within our best practices guidelines including timely reserve review notespayment requests electronic diary.

  • Inform management of all complaints large losses coverage issues etc.

What youll need to succeed

  • Minimum 2 years of experience handling commercial casualty claims.

  • College/University or equivalent industry experience.

  • Ability to make decisions and give directions to adjusters and/or counsel.

  • Must be a quick learner with strong communication and negotiating skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient computer skills to navigate paperless claim file system.
