Permanent Part-Time Opportunity 22.8hours spread across working week (0.6FTE)

Based in South Metropolitan regions of WA Rockingham

ABOUT THE ROLE

Ngala is seeking suitable candidates to join as a Senior Coordinator Communities South to be based in the South Metropolitan regions of WA Rockingham Read Street. The Senior Coordinator Communities South will lead and support the coordination of a diverse range of community programs and services across the South Metropolitan regions enhancing outcomes for children and families.

As a Senior Coordinator Communities South your responsibilities include but not limited to:

Provide effective people leadership mentoring and coaching to direct reports to ensure programs/services are delivered to a high standard.

Oversee the implementation of programs/services ensuring contractual obligations are met effectively and efficiently.

Maintain oversight of financial performance of allocated cost centres.

Contribute of strategic planning and service integration.

Perform day to day operational tasks/activities.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be highly organised and have strong communication skills together with the following:

Qualifications and/or significant experience in a relevant field/s including but not limited to human services health education child development community development human resource management or similar discipline.

Demonstrated awareness and understanding of working with families/organisations from diverse cultures including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

Experience in a leadership/management role within a community services setting including provision of staff supervision and support.

Demonstrated commitment to and experience in strengths based child centred practice and family and community capacity building.

Well-developed and effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships liaise with a broad range of people across all levels both internally and externally and with people from diverse backgrounds.

The successful candidate will need to hold a current WA drivers licence Working with Children Check and satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months.

As part of our commitment to being a Child Safe organisation successful candidates are required to provide their Immunisation History Statement. While immunisations are highly encouraged they are not mandatory. This information will help us assess and implement appropriate safety measures for everyone.
