Job Description
Summary/objective
The Stockroom Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the stockroom to ensure accurate receiving storing and distribution of materials parts supplies and equipment. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Stockroom Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy and availability to support production and cross-functional teams including finance logistics sales and maintenance. This is a hands-on role with no direct personnel supervision.

Essential functions

Maintain and organize stockroom inventory to ensure materials are stored properly and efficiently.
Receive incoming shipments inspect goods and ensure timely distribution to appropriate departments.
Accurately record receiving and inventory transactions in the software system.
Handle materials and equipment safely including heavy or delicate items.
Ensure production teams have timely access to required materials.
Complete assigned tasks on schedule and with accuracy.
Operate equipment including forklifts to support daily operations.
Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with reconciliations.
Maintain cleanliness and order within the stockroom.
Report discrepancies damaged goods or inventory issues promptly.
Collaborate with team members across departments to support operational goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required education and experience
2 years in a stockroom receiving or material handling role.
Forklift operation experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred education and experience
Experience using inventory management or ERP systems.
Forklift certification a plus.
