Job Description
Our client is a leading European agency responsible for supporting EU and Schengen countries in managing external borders combating cross-border crime and coordinating large-scale border control operations. With a highly trained uniformed corps deployed across land sea and air borders they work closely with national and international partners to ensure security conduct search and rescue operations and gather intelligence on criminal networks. Operating both within and outside the EU the agency leverages advanced monitoring systems and expertise to respond rapidly to evolving challenges. As part of its ongoing digital transformation it is modernising operational reporting and workforce management to enhance efficiency security and real-time decision-making.
As an IT Project Manager you will oversee the full lifecycle of medium-to-large ICT projects ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and to the highest quality standards. Youll join a multidisciplinary team liaising closely with business stakeholders technical teams and suppliers to deliver solutions that address real business needs. Your leadership will ensure effective planning communication and execution while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
Project Leadership
- Manage projects throughout their full lifecycle from initiation to closure.
- Establish and maintain project controls to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Ensure quality standards are met across all project outputs.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with the Project Board and key business stakeholders to align project goals with organizational objectives.
- Ensure effective communication across project teams and external partners.
Team & Process Management
- Assign and oversee tasks balancing priorities and workload.
- Organize work in scrums and manage teamwork with Azure DevOps.
- Motivate and guide the project team to achieve optimal performance.
Documentation & Reporting
- Produce project documentation including plans schedules logs and reports.
- Prepare and deliver presentations for various audiences.
- Organize and conduct project meetings.
Requirements:
Technical Expertise
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience.
- Experience managing at least one medium-to-large ICT project as a Project Manager.
- Knowledge and application of both traditional and Agile project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of IT and its application to business processes.
- Experience with Azure DevOps SharePoint-based solutions ontology/taxonomy management systems and data integration projects.
Leadership & Communication Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English C1 certification).
- Strong leadership abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues managers and suppliers in a changing environment.
Certifications
- At least one of: PRINCE2 Practitioner Project Management Professional (PMP) PM2 Agile or equivalent internationally recognized certification (subject to Contracting Authority acceptance).
Specific Experience
- Organizing work in scrums.
- Managing business stakeholder relationships with a client-oriented approach.
