Early Learning Connections a private non-profit United Way affiliate was founded in 1973. The mission of the Early Learning Connections is to provide a variety of high quality early learning programs that foster a safe and positive culture through kindness and respect to meet the comprehensive needs of families.
As a new Family Service Worker at Early Learning Connections in Butler County you will be responsible for conducting home visits to assess family needs facilitating parent education workshops and connecting families with community resources. You will collaborate with a team of professionals to develop individualized service plans and ensure families receive the support they need to thrive. Additionally you will maintain detailed case records participate in team meetings and stay updated on best practices in family services. Your dedication to supporting families and promoting child well-being will be crucial in this role as you make a meaningful impact on the community each day.
To excel as a Family Service Worker at Early Learning Connections in Butler County strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You must be empathetic resourceful and able to build trusting relationships with diverse families. Organization and time management skills will help you juggle multiple tasks effectively from conducting home visits to maintaining case records. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs especially Word and Excel is required for documentation and data entry. Familiarity with social service databases and case management software is a plus.
