Job Description

Our client a reputable and well-established group of companies is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Accounting Technician to join their team in apermanent role based in Windsor Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Payroll processing
  • Month-end statements
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Budgeting support
  • Year-end support
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or business administration
  • CPA designation in progress or intent to pursue is considered a strong asset
  • Minimum 3 years bookkeeping/accounting support experience
  • Proven understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate in data entry and recording
  • Punctual reliable and responsible work ethic
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a larger team
