Our client a reputable and well-established group of companies is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Accounting Technician to join their team in apermanent role based in Windsor Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Payroll processing
- Month-end statements
- Bank reconciliations
- Budgeting support
- Year-end support
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements
- Other tasks and projects as assigned
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- Post-secondary education in accounting or business administration
- CPA designation in progress or intent to pursue is considered a strong asset
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping/accounting support experience
- Proven understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and accurate in data entry and recording
- Punctual reliable and responsible work ethic
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a larger team
