The Opportunity
As a strategic problem solver providing technical pre-sales support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Justice (DOJ) Digital Experience sales team this role helps agencies improve digital experiences for their internal and public users by crafting solutions using Adobes Experience Cloud.
What youll Do
The Senior Solution Consultant partners with assigned sales account executives to position solutions that address customer business problems. This is done by articulating and demonstrating Adobes value proposition and business value. The solutions consultant drives sales opportunities providing Adobes point of view towards the customer business challenges and leading the technical sales process. To do this we conduct discovery deliver customer presentations scope solutions based on requirements provide demonstrations and respond to RFP addition there is a focus on collaborating across the Adobe ecosystem on ideas in support of customer success.

The Solution Consulting team is responsible for guiding and delivering the most creative solutions supporting our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Justice (DOJ) customer.
What youll need to succeed
- BS Degree in computer science or related field and/or 6 years of prior experience in a pre-sales consulting or software development role involved with Enterprise software and cloud-based/SaaS solutions is preferred
- Technical experience with marketing technology solutions HTML5 JavaScript CSS web protocols web analytics are useful to customize demonstrations
- Strong verbal presentation and written skills are needed to engage with customer executives conduct business requirement discovery sessions and deliver dynamic presentations
- Ability to travel as needed up to 40% which typically includes 1-day visits with customers for discovery and solutioning meetings
- Ideally experience in public sector: Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Justice (DOJ)
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to pass comprehensive background investigations.
At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
