License/Certification/Registration: *MN RN license or commensurate license/certification required *Current certification in BLS PALS required *Current certification in TNCC/TCRN or other trauma-related specialty certifications preferred
Education: *Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required Masters Degree preferred.
Experience : *5 years trauma clinical experience required- pediatric trauma experience preferred. *Experience in data analysis project management and performance improvement.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: *Excellent analytical skills including data analysis critical thinking and ability to effectively deliver data results in a way that speaks to non-data audiences. *Proficient communication skills and presentation skills for a variety of audiences including hospital administration patient care leaders providers and frontline staff. *Knowledge of trauma registry requirements ICD-10-CM coding preferred. *Proficiency in MS Office Suite required; knowledge of technology and software applications preferred; knowledge of technology and software applications preferred. *Self-directed shows initiative and trusted to work autonomously. *Understanding of clinical processes and patient flow within the healthcare system. *Maintains positive working relationships and engenders trust with supervisors employees other stakeholders to gain cooperation and support in assigned projects. *Requires the ability to transport self independently throughout medical facility and to off-site locations.
The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
