Job Summary
The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Lead to lead the design of intuitive engaging and impactful digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will own the entire design process from discovery through delivery collaborating closely with product managers engineers and researchers to shape products that delight users and drive business results.
The ideal candidate combines exceptional design craft with leadership strategy and strong cross-functional collaboration skills. You will champion user-centered design build and maintain design systems and contribute to our culture of continuous learning and design excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design processes for complex cross-platform projects (web mobile responsive).
- Collaborate with product managers developers and researchers in Agile or Lean environments to define and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Conduct and integrate user research usability testing and iterative feedback into the design process.
- Build maintain and scale design systems ensuring consistency and usability across products.
- Produce detailed case studies and design documentation articulating problems processes and outcomes.
- Create modern responsive and visually compelling interfaces using advanced design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma Sketch Adobe XD).
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
- Present design concepts and decisions effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Stay up to date on emerging design trends tools and methods and contribute to the broader design community (e.g. speaking engagements articles).
Requirements:
- 5 years of professional UI/UX design experience with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven track record designing across multiple platforms (web mobile responsive).
- Strong portfolio featuring detailed case studies (not just final visuals) demonstrating user-centered design problem-solving and measurable outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with design systems and scalable UI component libraries.
- Proficiency in Figma Sketch Adobe XD and prototyping tools.
- Experience with user research methods usability testing and iterative design.
- Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum teams collaborating with developers and product managers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale.
Preferred:
- Experience defining UX strategy and contributing to product vision.
- Public recognition of design expertise (e.g. conference speaking blog posts open-source contributions).
- Cross-platform design experience beyond web/mobile (e.g. desktop apps embedded systems).
