How youll contribute
An Echocardiology Technicianwho excels in this role:
Performs ECHO procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Reviews patient history and physicians orders. Educate patients regarding procedures equipment and exams to ensure patients understanding and cooperation.
When ordered prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
Enters transmits and reports scan results.

What were looking for
Applicants should have a current state ECHO license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
