Job Description
Driver
Columbus OH
Collect and transport samples from client location to laboratory location. Assist in the laboratory to perform daily operations and various housekeeping tasks.
Full time varying shifts between Monday-Friday to cover business operations. 35-55 hours in both the lab and traveling to client locations during weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect samples from client locations and transport to laboratory in a safe and efficient manner while following state regulations in a company vehicle
- Keep inventory of essential items needed to perform sampling procedures
- Maintain sterility of samples and sampling kits
- Inform leadership of emerging compliance and customer issues
- Establish and maintain productive working relationships with people inside the lab and people outside the lab including customers regulatory staff and corporate staff.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Some laboratory experience preferred
- Clean driving record
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of federal state and local laws regarding testing and transport of cannabis products preferred
- Knowledge of cannabis industry
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Ability to safely drive to and from client facilities
- Basic understanding of laboratory performance testing
- Ability to keep a professional and courteous demeanor in day-to-day operations
- Basic understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office
