The Event Photographer will attend co-curricular events occurring primarily on campus to take high quality appealing photos to be used on the University website and in University print materials. Hours will vary each week depending on what events are happening and are often in the evening or on the weekend. You cant be someone who hides behind your camera; you will need to interact with other students at the events to get the best photos. Think of this job as a combination wedding photographer and photojournalist.
Some experience photographing events and a portfolio of recent photography to show at your interview is preferred. You need to own a camera.
Contracts will be for 144 hours in the fall term and 136 hours in the spring the past students have not used all of their hours each term so if you are someone who needs a definite stream of income this may not be the job for you.
