Job Description

Responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. The goal of a maintenance technician is to maintain the equipment facilities and common areas in the best possible condition in order to improve production efficiency and machine utilization.Role and Responsibilities
- Review Plant Intelligence Center monitors to prioritize machine maintenance and repairs
- Repair maintain and rebuild machinery mechanical equipment and secondary equipment including hydraulic pneumatic electrical robotics automation and control systems such as programmable logic controllers.
- Troubleshoot all plant equipment and prescribe required maintenance to assure satisfactory operation with minimum downtime. Work with drawings prints diagrams and manufacturers printed instructions as needed.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections as required. Adjust repair or replace defective parts or materials.
- Fabricate new equipment or supplemental pieces when needed by using tooling machines.
- Install or oversee the installation of new equipment and electrical service
- Perform machine calibrations using prescribed equipment.
- Add options to production equipment in order to enhance capability.
- Perform facility maintenance as required to ensure that all building systems are maintained.
- Document all related work activity
- Report immediately to the supervisor those problems and unusual situations which cannot be resolved quickly.
- Communicate with the maintenance manager on planned/completed tasks
- Safely use forklifts and other equipment needed for the job task.
- Observe all safety requirements including Lock Out Tag Out and maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition.
Pay Range:
