Role: Community Advisor Americas
Reports To: Jon Webb Head of Advisory
Location: Buckhead Atlanta
Workplace Type: We ask all employees to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum 2x/week in their local office. We welcome employees to utilize office space more than that where possible.
The Role
The Community Advisor Americas plays a critical role in delivering market-leading thought leadership and strategic engagement for Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) and their teams. This role combines high-impact content creation community leadership strategic advisory support and executive engagement across the Americas region.
You will lead research-driven insight development shape the regional network through virtual and live events and contribute to commercial success by supporting account management and regional strategy. Procurement experience is not required - but a curiosity-driven mindset research capabilities and executive presence are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Advisory (40%)
- Executive Thought Leadership: Inspire and challenge C-level executives with strategic perspectives market trends and actionable insights.
- Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations to leadership teams based on proprietary research and community insight.
- Account Management Support: Collaborate with Account Managers to develop and co-create value plans for regional member companies.
- New Business Support: Provide proof-of-concept advisory engagements for prospects.
- KPIs: Engagement levels account health score and renewal rates.
Network (40%)
- Community Leadership: Develop and lead monthly regional micro-community cohorts; design program calendars recruit speakers and host sessions.
- Events: Chair present or facilitate discussions at regional virtual and live events.
- PLP Support: Partner with the events team to support prospecting partner engagement and new business development.
- KPIs: Member engagement rate participation in regional events.
Content (10%)
- Regional Voice in Global Content: Represent regional insights and executive perspectives in global content development initiatives.
- Case Study Development: Support the creation of regional case studies in partnership with the Network Quality (NQ) team.
- KPIs: Number of regional case studies produced.
Commercial Support & Regional Strategy (10%)
- Regional Strategy: Work with Account Managers and global teams to define and execute the content event and engagement strategy for the Americas.
- Account Engagement: Contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews member interactions and feedback loops to inform ongoing regional development.
- KPIs: Execution of co-created regional plans measurable member impact.
Who you are
- Strong analytical critical thinking and storytelling skills.
- Commercial acumen and a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Ability to form a hypothesis test it through research and create thought-provoking content.
- Skilled in primary and secondary research; comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Proven experience conducting qualitative research interviews (phone or in-person).
- Comfortable delivering high-quality presentations both virtually and in-person.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage C-suite leaders confidently.
