Description:
A. The Contractor shall provide Oncology Data Specialists credentialed by the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) that will:
A. The Contractor shall provide Oncology Data Specialists credentialed by the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) that will:
- The Contractors staff shall provide comprehensive case finding processes that review all available data sources identifying reportable patients and accession >90% within thirty (30) calendar days of first of contact with the VA. This includes community care under fee basis or purchased care. Case finding accuracy for the period must be delivered with a minimum of 90% accuracy to ensure completeness. This metric does not apply to any backlog work.
- The Contractors staff shall provide ongoing timely and accurate case completion within 6 months of first contact with a minimum 90% data accuracy score using VA processes and documented on the standardized review checklist. This metric does not apply to any backlog work.
- The Contractors staff shall provide additional reporting requirements and participation in Cancer Committee as needed for CoC accredited programs.
- Maintain an oncology database used to evaluate Veteran cancer incidence the efficacy of diagnostics and cancer therapies patient outcomes and survival as well as providing data for operational purposes and strategic planning.
