Responsibilities:
Design implement and manage scalable reliable and secure cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
Assist in planning and executing cloud migration projects ensuring seamless transitions from on-premises to cloud environments.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager to automate deployment and management processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current infrastructure identify migration requirements and support strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance ensuring high availability security and efficient resource utilization.
Implement best practices for security compliance and governance within cloud environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and network configurations.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to contribute to innovation and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain documentation of infrastructure designs migration plans processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
2-6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and cloud migration projects with exposure to AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with core cloud infrastructure services such as compute storage networking and security.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Bash or PowerShell for automation and configuration tasks.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager.
Basic experience in supporting cloud migration projects.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline tools.
Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
