Job Type: Full Time Non-Exempt

How youll contribute
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean sanitary and welcoming environment for patients staff and guests. Key duties include general cleaning tasks supply management and ensuring safety standards are met in coordination with plant operations.

  • Perform dusting vacuuming sweeping mopping sanitizing and trash removal
  • Replenish toiletry and linen supplies consistently
  • Inventory and order cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Work with the plant operations team to maintain a safe risk-free environment
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and hospital standards



Minimum Qualifications
Education:

  • High school diploma GED or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Valid drivers license preferred.


Experience:

  • Previous housekeeping in a hospital setting preferred..

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient rooms offices and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA
    regulations.
  • Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the hospital.
  • Report any situations that may affect health and well-being of patients or employees.
  • Assure that supply closets are kept clean and orderly.
  • Responsible for disposal of trash waste and other disposable materials in accordance with OSHA.
  • Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor.
  • Submit any patient personal belongings left behind to nursing supervisor.
  • Follows P&Ps for terminal cleaning of a room.
  • Follows instructions in use of germicidal solutions when cleaning.
  • Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
