DescriptionSTATEMENT OF PURPOSEResponsible to deliver therapeutic services to designated patients and family members; Provides specialized services for individuals suffering from substance use. EDUCATION
- Required Education: Must beenrolled in an approved school and gaining the experience required to receive a Substance Use Disorder
Professional credential.
- Preferred Education: AA in Social Services or equivalent (90 quarter/60 semester college credits) or Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Health
Sciences.
- Population Specifics: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of patients served.
- Required Experience: Minimum two (2) years of supervised experience-providing services for persons with substance use disorders.
- Preferred Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of Criminal Justice experience preferred.
- Required Certification: Substance Use Disorder Professional-Trainee as approved by Washington State Department of Health.
- Preferred Certification: Current BLS.
- Other: Bilingual and/or English/Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse population.
