Director of Quality Risk Management and Compliance
About Us
Collin Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in McKinney TX. We provide evidence-based inpatient and outpatient programming for individuals facing mental health and addiction challenges. Our services include compassionate care for adolescents adults and seniors and our programs are designed to promote lasting recovery and wellness.
Job Summary
The Director of Quality Risk Management and Compliance oversees the hospitals performance improvement initiatives risk mitigation strategies and compliance with state federal and accreditation standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the delivery of safe high-quality and legally compliant healthcare services across the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the hospitals quality program and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of TJC Medicaid state and federal regulations
- Advise departments on regulatory compliance and standards of care
- Lead risk assessment efforts and guide staff in addressing safety concerns
- Collect analyze and investigate hospital performance and incident reports
- Report findings to the Quality Council and CEO
- Utilize PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodology to develop action plans
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with department leaders on staff development programs
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: Masters degree in a health-related field preferred or Bachelors with equivalent experience in psychiatric healthcare
- Experience: Previous experience in psychiatric healthcare settings required; background in dual diagnosis substance use or geriatric care preferred; Previous Quality and Risk Management experience required
- License: Active and unencumbered nursing license (if applicable)
- Certifications: CPR and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of hire
