Roles and Responsibilities
- Own sourcing specific ERPs processes and tools. Review and improve processes. Work on special initiatives.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.
- A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
- Impacts projects processes and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment but may require more senior levels of guidance.
- Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Required Skills
Sourcing & Procurement Expertise
- Proven experience in Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management
- Strong capabilities in Contract Negotiation RFQ/RFP Management and Claims & Dispute Resolution
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Analytical & Technical Skills
- Proficient in Data Analysis and Interpretation to drive cost reduction and value creation initiatives
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle)
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables VLOOKUP and complex formula usage
- Communication & Collaboration
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Skilled in Stakeholder Management Negotiation and Persuasion
- Confident in delivering presentations to internal and external audiences
- Self-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving and initiative-taking
Preferred Skills
Business Acumen & Leadership
- Solid Commercial Awareness with the ability to align sourcing strategies to broader business goals
- Capable of making informed decisions under uncertainty
- Good understanding of Business Strategy and its application in sourcing and procurement
Advanced Analytical & Technical Tools
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and reporting
- Competence in Market Intelligence gathering Benchmarking and Demand Forecasting
Project & Program Management
- Ability to develop and execute Commodity Strategies
- Experience in end-to-end Project Planning and Execution
- Familiarity with Change Management principles and methodologies
Interpersonal & Soft Skills
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills to support team development
- Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic business environments
- Resilience and effective stress management under pressure
Required Qualifications
- This role requires advanced experience in the Sourcing & Sourcing Initiatives. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
