We are now seeking expressions of interest for the newly established Senior Coordinator Mental Health position.
About the Role
Western Queensland Primary Health Network (WQPHN) is seeking a highly skilled and influential mental health professional for the role of Senior Coordinator Mental Health to drive the integration and enhancement of primary mental health services across our region. This pivotal fixed term role will develop and implement strategies that improve access efficiency and outcomes for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
Working closely with GPs Hospital and Health Services Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and other partners youll co-design solutions that address local needs within a stepped care model. Youll provide clinical leadership to service providers champion sector capability building through Communities of Practice and ensure initiatives deliver measurable improvements for priority populations.
While this role requires Credentialed Mental Health Clinician status it is important to note that the incumbent will not be delivering clinical services. Instead their expertise will be used to guide and inform the development of safe sustainable and effective service models.
