JOB SUMMARY
Job Profile Summary
Responsibilities:
Assist with the operation of a multi-tank storageterminalconsisting of truck loading racks Rail Carterminal and barge dock by performing loading/unloading activities of Butanes Propane Propylene Natural Gasoline and Condensate.
- Assist withterminal/ distribution operations by performing loading and unloading activities
- Monitor products transferred to and from tanks vessels or pipelines atterminalsite
- Assist withterminalconstruction repair work and maintenance duties as needed maintaining equipment in operating condition
- Catch & run samples using Gas Chromatograph machine
- Blend sample and test all products to ensure specifications are met
- Maintainterminalrecords for stock control (inventory) station reads regulatory/environmental reports driver tickets etc.
- Input information into RDTraxx ticketing system for truck and Rail Car (if applicable)
- Load/Unload trucks Rail Cars Ships and barges as needed
- Assist customers and/or producers with any problems that may arise
- Special assignment duties and call out as required
Schedule: 7 on/ 7 off Days/Nights Rotation
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year experience interminaloperations
- Valid drivers license
- TWIC Eligibility Required
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and subject to random DOT drug screening
- Capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds
- Capable of vigorous outdoor activities and have manual dexterity with physical ability to work extended hours climbing bending kneeling squatting working with arms extended above the head twisting upper body standing for long periods walking on catwalks.
Education
Work Experience
- Following job related experience required:
- Experience operating and maintaining pipeline systems and related equipment utilized in natural gas and liquids gathering and transmission systems
- Experience in various field functions including measurement cathodic protection and compressor/pump station operations
- Experience in maintenance and the repair of equipment
- Experience training and/or knowledge of:
- Company and governmental operating/safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Characteristics of natural gas and gas liquids
- Pigging pipelines blowing drips gauging tanks and collecting liquids
- Construction methods
- Experience in patrolling pipelines performing leakage surveys and locating/marking lines
- Experience in working with valves and dehydration equipment scrubbers and separators
- Experience in use and function of applications such as: Microsoft Excel Project Access Word etc.
- Experience interacting negotiating advising and communicating effectively and in exchanging written and verbal information and instructions
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of: cathodic protection/corrosion control activities
- Ability to: use tools and equipment including computers and related software
- Ability to: establish prioritize assignments and complete assignments in a timely manner with limited supervision
- Ability to: use logic and reasoning to identify alternate solutions or approaches to a problem
- Ability to: communicate thoughts ideas information messages and other written information which may contain technical material in a logical organized and coherent manner
- Ability to: apply the use of formulas to estimate or calculate flow rates and volumes
- Ability to: apply basic arithmetic to include addition subtraction multiplication and division
