Salary:

$8.25 per hour (max. 20 hours per week)

Schedule:

Varies based on the students class schedule

Position Summary:

The Federal Work Study- Computer/Piano Lab Assistant provides technical and customer service support in the Music Departments computer/piano labs. This role helps maintain a productive secure and user-friendly environment for students using computing resources.

**Must be eligible for Federal Work Study. If uncertain of eligibility please contact the Office of Financial Aid.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student at Jax State University and qualify for the Federal Work Study program
  • Punctual reliable and responsible
  • Must be able to work between the hours of 5pm-11pm and adhere to a set scheduled weekly lab time
  • Must be able to work some weekend shifts as need for lab access requires

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in customer service or technical support
  • Experience with printers scanners and other peripheral devices
  • Basic troubleshooting skill
