We are seeking compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team and provide exceptional care to our clients in Waukesha County WI! As a leading provider of home care skilled nursing services we are committed to delivering personalized and professional nursing care to individuals in the comfort of their homes.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills a proactive approach to patient care and the ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations. Prior experience in skilled nursing care in a homecare setting is highly preferred. We are dedicated to providing support to our LPNs with mentoring from experienced nurses to ensure a smooth transition into your new role.

LPN Schedule:
Both day and night shifts are available. You can select the shifts that best align with your schedule and availability. Current availability is the following:
- Client 1: Daily
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM CT (8.5-hour shift)
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM CT (8.5-hour shift)
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM CT (8.5-hour shift)
- Client 2: Daily
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM CT (6-hour shift)
- 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM - 8:00 AM CT (11-hour shift)
- Client 3: Daily
- 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM CT (7-hour shift)
- 3rd Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM CT (12-hour shift)

LPN Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care Documentation:Maintain accurate up-to-date records of patients medical histories treatments and progress.
- Vital Signs Monitoring:Accurately take and record vital signs including blood pressure temperature heart rate and respiratory rate ensuring thorough documentation.
- Patient Assessment:Monitor and observe patients for progress side effects from medications and any changes in condition.
- Personal Care Support:Provide assistance with daily living activities such as eating bathing dressing and personal hygiene always maintaining dignity and respect.
- Medical Procedures: Administer prescribed medications and treatments such as wound care and other routine medical tasks.
- Emotional Support:Offer emotional support and comfort to patients ensuring they feel cared for and heard during their treatment.
- Family Communication:Communicate with patients families to provide updates advice and comfort while also delivering necessary care instructions.
LPN Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Proven experience in a similar role with a valid LPN license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Healthcare Standards Knowledge:Understanding of health safety and sanitation standards ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices in patient care.
- Confidentiality Compliance:Ability to manage confidential patient information with discretion and in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Medical Terminology Proficiency:Strong understanding of medical terminology ensuring clear and accurate communication in patient care.
- Strong Communication Skills:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients families and team members.
- Stress Management:Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations demonstrating problem-solving skills and a compassionate approach.
