Job Description

BeyondFS is a rapidly growing UK-based consultancy having grown fivefold in the past three years. We provide expert-led change services to financial institutions helping them shape manage and deliver their critical financial crime transformation programmes. Who are we looking for

We are looking for a Principal and Managing Principal to join our team. You will be actively involved in the development and growth of BeyondFS deliver client engagements and manage internal projects. Like all of our team enhancing our company culture will be a core part of your role we want all our consultants to be role models to others in the business regardless of grade. Successful candidate must be able to evidence:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience at Principal grade and 7 years at Managing Principal grade with financial crime experience within a top-tier consulting firm or boutique consultancy
  • Consulting experience that includes but is not limited to work within investment banking/capital markets corporate banking retail banking or Insurance.
  • Leading and delivering large-scale complex transformation projects or workstreams within larger programmes as well as owning creating high quality business analysis deliverables
  • Experience of the full project lifecycle from project scoping requirements gathering and design through to implementation testing training and transition to BAU
  • Track record of managing strong client relationships leading client engagement and accounts
  • Identifying opportunities for account growth and sales and contributing to developing proposals
  • Strong technical understanding with the ability to develop solutions and drive digital efficiencies
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Support the development of others within the team training and coaching more junior colleagues sharing your expertise and experience
  • Proficient in MS office carry the skills to handle large data sets and be comfortable communicating complex ideas and proposals to clients.

Skillset/Desirable

  • Has worked on multiple projects and started to develop a specialism in delivering financial crime transformation projects for financial services organisations.
  • Proven track record of delivering financial crime transformation programmes with experience of delivering first or second line change
  • Knowledge of KYC AML and broader financial crime technology vendors and solutions
  • Strong understanding of the financial crime regulatory requirements and experienced in dealing with regulators regulatory responses and remedial programmes
  • Knowledge of financial crime operating models and best practice
  • Experienced in of conducting financial crime compliance related assessments/gap analysis including enterprise risk assessment compliance reviews risk control assessments
  • Is comfortable helping to support the definition design and implementation of operating models associated with these areas and is able to advise clients in by articulating the typical challenges experienced and how these can be managed.
  • Is familiar with key industry vendors and technology capabilities able to support our clients in delivering their transformation objectives
  • Has a working knowledge of the regulatory environment in which our clients operate and the typical requirements of a major financial institution

Remuneration and benefits

You will be recognised and rewarded with:

  • Competitive renumeration: This is made up of a base salary from 80000 to 100000 depending on experience and grade plus 20% bonus based on company and personal performance.
  • Leave: 25 days holiday increasing by a day for each year in service to a total of 29 days (plus we will give you your birthday off)
  • Additional leave: you can buy extra days up to a maximum of 30 per year
  • Flexible benefits: 3000 annual allowance from day one of employment for you to allocate as you wish.
