Job Description

Your mission:
  • Develop and maintain PLC programs using structured text (Mainly Codesys Platform for WAGO PLCs)
  • Develop PLC-HMIs
  • Hardware configuration of the PLC system including input/output modules and communication interfaces
  • Testing and debugging of PLC programs and systems to identify and resolve any issues or error.
  • Perform remote and on-site commissioning of monitoring and control systems for photovoltaic power plants mainly in Iberia region
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians in the design and implementation of automation solutions
  • Creating schematics and documentation
Your profile:
  • Training in engineering or a technical background related to industrial/energy automation
  • Experience in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA solutions preferably WAGO devices
  • Experience in structured text (ST)
  • Knowledge of industrial control and communication protocols (ModBus IEC101 IEC102 IEC104 and automation systems)
  • Knowledge of RTUs for protocol conversion plant automation power control and other SCADA functionalities
  • Knowledge of vba scripts
  • Knowledge of computer networking principles including TCP/IP protocols subnetting and routing and switching technologies
  • Implement and help define network and cybersecurity measures
  • Knowledge of Firewall configuratrion (Fortigate / Palo Alto)
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
