Job Summary:
Seeking a talented self-motivated automotive electrical hardware engineer for the design engineering group focused on ADAS systems. Duties include supporting analog and digital circuit design through testing analysis and simulation. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting design activities for automotive control systems during quotation development and mass production. The candidate will need to understand and be able to communicate & explain technical concepts testing methods and documentation procedures to lower-level engineers to increase their understanding & capability to perform these activities in support of engineering development. This may take the form of preparing presentation material completing documentation and attending/leading meetings. The support of products already in production can include aiding/leading root cause analysis activities for part failures outlining/determining testing pass/fail criteria. The support of products under development can include creation of test plans analyzing product specifications supporting the testing of prototypes and creating test specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
Qualifications / Skills:
Education: Bachelor or masters degree in electrical and/or computer engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years applicable experience in automotive ECU development.
Job level determined by various factors such as organization size responsibility career stage and capabilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities: leading instructing and mentoring the efforts of engineers who are responsible for sub-project activities.
Working conditions:
Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time in office or lab. Capable of lifting equipment weighing up to 50lbs. Dexterity of hands fingers and wrists to operate a computer keyboard mouse and other computer components.
Travel: Readiness to travel domestically or internationally as needed up to 10% annually.
Work Environment: Hybrid remote work minimum 3 days in office per week is allowed but must be able to physically be present in the office/lab when duties dictate the need.
