Make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality person-centred care at Frederic House a specialist aged care facility dedicated to supporting older men affected by homelessness mental health challenges and alcohol or drug this deeply rewarding role youll provide holistic care in an environment that prioritises empathy dignity and recovery. Collaborate closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team that shares your commitment to compassionate respectful and transformative will be joining a supportive and inclusive team where you can contribute meaningfully to the community and make a real difference to peoples lives
Provide care in line with individual care plans.
Uphold and exceed aged care accreditation standards.
Accurately administer medication and maintain clear documentation.
Communicate effectively with team members families and residents.
Contribute to care assessments and planning with registered nurses.
Support food service delivery and maintain hygiene standards.
Monitor residents health and respond to changes.
Ensure safety through proper use of equipment and protocols.
Certificate III in Aged Care (minimum requirement).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A respectful empathetic approach to resident care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Proven ability to identify and respond to safety concerns.
Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Completion or willingness to complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
Clearance checks: National Police Check International Police Check (if required) NSW Working with Children Check (Employee) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
